2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup milk
4 ea eggs
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup butter
Combine flour/salt/milk/and eggs. Blend well and beat five minutes. Pass mix slowly through very coarse sieve which is held over large saucepan of boiling salted water. Do a little at a time. Boil 8 min. then drain and rinse with cold water. Brown onions in butter in large skillet; add spaetzle. Cook and stir until hot and thoroughly mixed. Serve with Sauerbraten and gravy over Spaetzle.
